Lily… Carson… Vitali… Inna… Kyla… Real kids who needed a mom and a dad. Real kids who got one. We want to help make this journey a little easier for adopting families. God does not call everyone to adopt a child; but everyone can help these orphans through prayer and the giving of resources to help ease the financial burden of the families that God has called for His purpose. Would you think about financially supporting Micah’s Hope? No gift is too small. Monthly gifts would go a long way in bringing more children home!
IGNITE! Calhoun County is a multi-ethnic, multi-denominational community of churches seeking to display God’s love through acts of service so our communities are straightened and local churches are strengthened. Our goal is to demonstrate the love of God as we minister to the needs of the people throughout the communities of Calhoun County in the name of Jesus. Some of the ministries we participate in are ongoing in nature. But we also take part in major ministry events a couple times a year. We call these events “Big Serve” weekends. Dozens of Christians from our group of churches come together to repair homes, do landscape work, paint schools, lay sod, build ramps, help tornado victims, etc… If you are interested in serving the needs of the Calhoun County Community through our “Big Serve” ministry please call or email one of the pastors.
Campus Outreach at Jacksonville State University is a ministry of Grace Fellowship. We partner with Campus Outreach in every way, putting the full weight of our support behind everything they do. Our leadership team meets weekly with students on campus, training them in one-on-one, small group, and campus-wide settings. We also encourage and support both New Year’s Conference and Summer Beach Project. Grace Fellowship families help students by hosting them in their homes, meeting their physical and spiritual needs. We believe that the local church should play a major role in the life of every college student. Campus Outreach is a great way to encourage participation in God’s local body. Our “His Hands” Women’s Ministry serves as a constant source of fellowship and companionship throughout the body of our church and beyond. Because with His hands He touched a fevered brow, reached out to the leper, fed a multitude, blessed the children, washed dirty feet, opened the eyes of the blind, comforted the frightened, took hold of a drowning man, carried a cross…we want to minister to each other and to anyone who needs to know the touch of His hands.

At Grace Fellowship our desire is to glorify God through the use of biblically-based music. We, therefore, strive to incorporate music with Scriptural lyrics. What are some of the characteristics that you will find at Grace Fellowship? You will find an emphasis on God’s transcendence and yet His imminence. He is far greater than us and yet He is near. You will see an appreciation for both the ancient and the contemporary, the new and the old. You will (hopefully) experience depth, but not rigid formalism. You will experience a value for God’s Word and yet a dependance on His Holy Spirit. You will sense a respect and fear of the Lord, all the while being able to relax. We encourage you to join us this Sunday for corporate worship at 10:15!
Grace Fellowship has recently established a ministry to the youth in our church. The youth ministry here at Grace is designed to support parents in their spiritual and parental roles, not replace or usurp what they are doing. They meet for Bible Study each Sunday morning in the Community Center and host periodic fellowships. If you are interested in learning more, you may contact Jordan and Anna Weathers at 256-473-0230.
The “Women of a Certain Age” ministry is basically a Titus 2 ministry of our older ladies here at Grace Fellowship. They exist for fellowship, fun, sharing, and caring. Their scheduled meetings usually occur on the second Tuesday of each month for lunch or dinner. If you have any questions about this group, please contact us at [email protected]
